How to pick a CBCT viewer
Most dental CBCT software falls into two camps. Desktop suites like Romexis, Invivo, DEXIS and Carestream offer deep tooling but require installation, per-seat licensing and a learning curve. Browser-based viewers like CBCTHub trade some specialized modules for zero install, instant sharing and multi-device access.
If your main need is viewing scans, measuring implant sites, sharing with patients and collaborating with specialists, a browser-based viewer is almost always the right fit. If you need CAD/CAM integration, proprietary scanner workflows or case planning for complex surgery, a desktop suite still has the edge.
