Your center receives patients with scanners from different brands. CBCTHub reads DICOM from all of them: Carestream, Planmeca, Vatech, Sirona, Morita, NewTom and more.
CBCTHub lets us deliver the viewer and the scan through a single link — no installs for our referring dentists, and every study still carries our clinic's brand.

Mexico's #1 dental imaging center since 2005.
CBCT, EXPLAINED
Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a 3D imaging technique that captures a dental or maxillofacial volume in a single rotation, producing a stack of DICOM files with sub-millimeter voxel resolution. It's the standard of care for implant planning, impacted canines, endodontic diagnosis, airway assessment, and oral surgery workups.
Traditional CBCT viewers are installed on a single workstation in the imaging center. The scan gets burned to a CD or DVD and carried to the referring dentist — who then needs to install the manufacturer's viewer on a specific PC to read it. Months of CDs pile up. Files get lost. Patients wait days to see their own scan.
CBCTHub is a browser-based DICOM viewer built specifically for dental CBCT. It runs on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge — on any desktop, laptop, or tablet. All image processing happens locally through WebAssembly, so reconstruction runs on your machine rather than on our infrastructure. You get MPR planes, panoramic reconstruction, oblique slices, sub-millimeter measurements, implant simulation, and slice-level comments — the same tools you'd expect from a $10k workstation, without the workstation.
Sharing is a link. You paste it in WhatsApp, email, or an EHR note. The recipient opens it in their browser — no install, no login, no app store. If you run an imaging center, that link replaces the CD. If you're a referring dentist, that link replaces the physical handoff. If you're a radiologist reading remotely, that link replaces RDP into a specific workstation.
FEATURES
Every reconstruction and measurement tool you need. No plugins. No add-ons.

Trace the arch, get a panoramic in real time. Adjust thickness from 1 to 40 mm and regenerate on the fly.
WHY CBCTHUB?
Desktop CBCT software means license fees, IT tickets, and version headaches. CBCTHub replaces all of it with a link.
Create a free accountNo installer. No config file. No IT ticket. Open your browser and you're reading the scan.
Pin a comment to any slice and share a link that opens right to that finding. No more screenshot threads.
Office desktop, laptop at home, tablet at a conference. If it runs a browser, it runs CBCTHub.
Every pixel is rendered on your device, not on our servers. Files are stored encrypted with AES-256.
MPR, freehand panoramics, oblique slices, cross-sections, measurements, implant simulation. All of it.
Updates ship automatically. No patches to install, no breaking versions, no downtime.
WHO IT'S FOR
Whether you run a high-volume imaging center or a single-chair practice, CBCTHub slots into the way you already work.
Deliver every scan as a branded link. Referring dentists open it instantly. Reports attach automatically.
Read scans from any device. Walk dentists through findings live. Leave comments pinned to the exact slice.
Show patients what you see. Send them a link that opens on any phone or laptop — no app, no account.
HOW IT WORKS
No software. No accounts for recipients. Drag, view, share.
Drag a DICOM folder or ZIP into the browser. Full-arch, maxillary, mandibular, TMJ — it all loads.
MPR, panoramic, and oblique views render in seconds. Every tool you'd expect, right in the tab.
Generate a secure link and send it over email or WhatsApp. Attach a PDF report if you need to.
Pin comments to specific slices, or go live and walk someone through the scan in real time.
USE CASES
From implant planning to fracture workup — one tool handles it all.

Map the IAN, measure bone height, and simulate placement in oblique and cross-sectional views.

Assess root proximity, airway volume, and facial symmetry with MPR and panoramic reconstructions.

Catch extra canals, vertical root fractures, and periapical pathology in high-resolution axial slices.

Work up fractures, cysts, and impacted third molars with full multiplanar reconstructions.

Compare both condyles side by side with slices perpendicular to the condylar axis. Assess position, morphology, and joint space.

Real-time collaboration
Stop firing screenshots back and forth on WhatsApp. Discuss findings, present scans, and generate reports — all inside CBCTHub.

I see a periapical radiolucent lesion on tooth 3.6

Agreed. About 8mm. Do you see canal involvement?

Dr. Rosas
Yes, the mesial canal shows resorption. I marked the slice.

A typical workflow
The radiologist uploads the CBCT, reads it, and drops comments on the relevant findings. Then kicks off a live stream and sends the link to the dentist. The dentist opens it and sees exactly what the radiologist is showing. When they're done, they export the analysis as PDF with every finding documented.

Everything you need to know before you start.
On your machine, in your browser — pixels are reconstructed on your device, not on our infrastructure. Files are stored encrypted with AES-256 at rest and travel over TLS 1.2+, with access control and audit logging.
Standard DICOM files (.dcm, .dicom, .ima) and compressed archives (ZIP, RAR, 7z, TAR.GZ) that contain them. Works with every major CBCT brand out of the box.
Every study gets a unique, secure link. Send it over email or WhatsApp — the recipient opens the full scan in their browser. No account, no download.
The full viewer is built for desktop and laptop screens, where you have room for every tool. Shared study pages are fully responsive and work on any device.
Yes. Drop a PDF onto any study. When you share the link, the recipient sees the report right next to the scan.
Upgrade to Pro or Max for unlimited studies. No annual contracts — cancel anytime.
Anything that exports standard DICOM: Carestream, Planmeca, Vatech, Sirona, Morita, NewTom, and many others.
Only for the initial upload. Once the study is loaded, the viewer runs entirely offline in your browser.
Pin a comment to any slice in any view — MPR, oblique, or panoramic — and it generates a deep link that opens right to the finding. Think Google Docs comments, but for CBCT scans.
Walk through a scan in real time with someone else watching. They see everything you see — same slice, same cursor, same annotations, same window/level — all synced instantly. No Zoom screen-share required.
Hundreds of dental professionals already read and share CBCT scans with CBCTHub. See why.
